• Pick-up service from the train station to the accommodation. This also applies to arrivals at the airports in Salzburg, Innsbruck and Munich.
   

• Mobility of guests on site Integrate local transport into the offers. In addition, experience.tirol offers its guests rental bicycles for the duration of their stay or integrates them into the products as an inclusive service.

• If a car trip can be replaced by a bicycle or on foot, this form should be chosen.
   

• Longer business trips are mainly to be made by train. These trips should be minimized overall and replaced by online meetings.
   

• When purchasing a new vehicle, vehicles with alternative drive systems should be considered (Status of the currently most environmentally friendly technology).

Management & Human Resources

• Small-scale businesses with a maximum of 20 residential units

• No international chains, but (family-run) local operators Regional employees are preferred

• Remuneration according to the collective agreements or above.

• Employees who are employed all year round if possible – as many “permanent staff” as possible building
   

Buildings built in local tradition

• Use of traditional natural building materials (wood, brick)

• State-of-the-art insulation, heating systems without fossil fuels if possible, use of alternative energies such as photovoltaics, heat pumps, wood chip heating, district heating.

Meals

• If catering is offered, care must be taken to ensure that the focus is on seasonal and regional cuisine. Exotic fruits are just as unnecessary as a selection that results in a portion not being consumed and having to be discarded. Less is more!
   

Additional services:

• If the accommodation offers additional services, these should correspond to sustainable tourism (e.g. bike rental, vacation on a farm, vacation without a car due to short distances and various facilities directly in the house)

  As little as possible is printed out and, as far as this is legally possible, converted to paperless storage. When purchasing paper, reduce from 80g/m² to 70g/m²

• standby mode
  This is switched off for all devices used. Light sources are only used when absolutely necessary and switched off when leaving the office.
   

Technology
Electricity should come from 80% - 90% renewable energies. The first step has already been taken by installing a PV system. Heating from fossil fuels is also to be gradually phased out.

• Tourist marketing should only take place to the extent that the original form of the festival is retained and commercial success is not used as a benchmark.
